Excellent ambience with surprisingly amazing food. Located just next to the cathedral in between the trees. Great service by Mr Amir , and we loved the view into the trees from the restaurant.

This restaurant has a prime location, and they did a much better job with it than the ridiculous-looking giant restaurant next to it. I like how they used the little space they have and placed the patio on the roof. Staying on both the main floor and the roof patio, I somewhat feel like each of them fits a particular occasion better – the main floor is good for the restaurant atmosphere, and the patio has a bar vibe and is better for drinks, live music, hookah, etc. With time, the menu keeps on expanding, which is not always a good thing, but so far kitchen is doing a decent job. Surprisingly quite a few Scandinavian dishes are on the menu. My only complaint is that beef Carpaccio came with Parmesan cheese, but it is the wrong kind of Parmesan and not the one that goes on Carpaccio, and it was cut way too thick. Also, our waiter was great. Very helpful and responsive. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Kudos to him. The prices are very reasonable. Hopefully, they can keep up with the status they established and only thrive further.

Great food, great food and great environment. Located in the middle of a large park, we sat in the patio with all the greenery. Staff spoke good English and the food was amazing. Had the beef tongue salad and bone marrow. So rich, so tasty. Reasonable prices too.

We had lunch at this cozy cafe and ordered omelette, salad, potato wedges and Berry tea. Food was good, ambiance was good and service was prompt.

One of the best pasta and pizza that I have ever eaten outside Italy. The taste is just perfect. Also ordered seabuckthorn tea and portion is very generous, can be shared. The place is also cozy and can be a spot for chit chatting. The food served quite slow.

Stopped by for a quick iced matcha. It was the best I’ve ever had. They made it with coconut milk and it was delicious. Very cool atmosphere indoor. Spacious and airy outside. Perfect for an afternoon tea, happy hour or a meal. Located inside the park, it provides shade from the sun or a bit of protection from the rain.

I was randomly searching for a café near the city center for brunch on my last day in Almaty and decided to stop by here—turned out it was the best decision ever. I visited in late December when snow and light rain fell quite often, and it created such a beautiful, aesthetic view from inside the café. The place is quite spacious, very well decorated, and I absolutely loved the ambience. The large glass windows overlook a park completely covered in snow—so aesthetic! The food and tea were also really good. I’ll definitely revisit if I come back to Almaty later 🥰

☕🍕✨ ☕🍕✨ I visited this lovely café located near the beautiful Zenkov Cathedral and Panfilov 28 Guardsmen Park in Almaty, and I had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, and very relaxing — a perfect place to rest after walking around the historic cathedral area. The food and coffee were both delicious. I ordered a pizza and it tasted excellent. The menu offers a wide variety of food and drinks, so there are many options to enjoy. Everything I tried was flavorful and satisfying. I couldn’t finish my pizza, so I asked for takeaway. The staff packed it very neatly and beautifully, even placing the receipt carefully inside the bag. I really appreciated this thoughtful and professional service. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and spoke good English, making communication easy and comfortable. The café was clean and well maintained, and even the restroom was very clean. Overall, this café offers great food, quality coffee, warm service, and a beautiful atmosphere in one of Almaty’s most iconic locations. I highly recommend everyone to visit and enjoy food and drinks here when exploring the cathedral area.
